after spending wonderful two weeks in Pakistan I am back to the UK :-( alone :-( Timki and Fatee will be back on 30th Nov....

had such a wonderful time there, this was my second trip to pak, first one was for a week for shaadi so didnt enjoy much but this time was totally different... started my holidays with a hugeeeeeee dinner, then sampled some food at melody food street in Isb, after that every meal was at some friend/family's place... in between I was down for a couple of days...

couple of weeks back, we went to Isle of Wight for 3 days. it was Timki's first long trip away from home... we were a bit worried about her sleep and how she would cope with the long journey by car and then by ferry... but Alhamdolillah it was all fine... she slept well in the travel cot and she was alright with eating outside

we went to the Needles Park, Butterfly Gardens, Shanklin Chine, etc etc... here are some of the pics...

so much to do and so little time *sigh*

its teething time for Timki so shes cranky at night, fatee is not getting enough sleep since last 2 nights, i am working till late at home on my new website and waking up at 6 in the morning to be at work at 7

fatee's cousin is here for couple of weeks good that he doesnt want us to take him to places or spend time with him, he goes out every morning for sight...

Our trip to Windsor Castle was Timki's first trip... she behaved very well mashaAllah se... the weather was not too good but we had a nice time. Ammi loved the idea of the audio guide where you enter the reference number of any room you are in and it gives you the description kind of thing...

she has learnt to put her fingers in her mouth... she starts with one finger, then two, then three then four and then she gags and removes her fingers and starts all over again

a boring day at work been here 4 hours already... 4 more to go... tick tock tick tock tick tock

have couple of certification exams coming up in April... havent started reading yet *yawn* the weather is not helping either... hopefully i will change my routine a bit from today inshaAllah so that have some active time at home in the evening... i started coming to work at 7 everymorning so that i could leave at 4 in the evening... this not only gives me more time at home, it also reduces...

we took Lamiya to this crafty cafe thingee where you can paint and do stuff on ceramic items then they bake them and give you a glazed one after a couple of days...

we took her foot prints on 2 square plates, one for my side of family in India and one for Fatee's family in Pak... we added all the details like date of birth, weight, time etc as well... and then I showed some of my super duper creativeness and made a mess of my plate i will post the pictures of the plates once...
