Yes, 2006 was full of uncertainties. Just us two and longgggggg uncertain life ahead.

It started with whether I want to be here for another year or go back to India. Finally we decided to stay another year and see how it goes.

Next one was whether I should apply for British citizenship or keep my Indian citizenship and Indefinite Leave to Remain status in UK. Finally decided...

i got my watch back *phew*

Well the story is, in June, before going back to India I gave my watch for battery replacement and overhauling. Since it is a pressurised blah blah dial it cannot be opened by a normal watch repairer. So i went to the place where i had bought it to get the battery replaced... the lady there said it will take 4-5 weeks because they will have to send it to Germany i had no option so i gave them the watch. I didnt hear anything from them after we...

okie so people, as promised, here is the christmas tree...

while walking to work today morning a small dog came running to me... he/she was walking with his/her master and as soon as it saw me, just starting running towards me... pata nahi kya ho gaya usko... i was scared ki pata nahi kya karega but it just came, sniffed my shoes and ran back to its master.

this reminded me of an incident that happened a couple of years back, it was a sunny summer afternoon... i was walking towards the town centre... in shorts... talking to kami on phone......

Had a very very boring and uneventful day today... was supposed to finish off something at work but couldnt progress further because on internal politics had to wait for a response to a request made early in the morning. I didnt hear anything from them till i left work so basically whole days just surfed net, played pool in the kitchen... did grocery shopping

lets hope i have the response from them tomorrow morning.

she lured me into buying a christmas tree this weekend... and also some colorful lights and some more lights and some golden hangings you hang on the tree and what not... i thought pata nahi kya ho gaya hai isko ki tree lagaane ke peeche parhi hai

after buying the tree stuff... she took me to Claires... wahan se bangles khareede and asked her to give her a box for it. then we went to this place where I liked a coat... she didnt want to buy but...

having a lazy day today... woke up late, went to work a bit late... was in Friday mood and that mood is still on no mood to work at all

left for lunch at around 12:30. fatee made yummiest daal-chawal. I always end up over-eating when i see daal-chawal served hot with tarka and lemon juice on it... saath mein achaar i love to have a slice of bread in daal before going to chawal part... all in all a wonderful lunch... and jab saath mein ek beautiful company ho (my wife...

so we went to see the rheumatologist last night... he asked me if it was alright after the first set of treatment... i said yeah it was perfectly fine... he said its a good news then... we nailed the problem.. now you should be back to the steroids but this time he started with low and asked to continue on it for atleat 6 wweeks then he will lower them further and get rid of them all together...

i had my first dose this morning and Alhamdolillah it started showing results already......

my day started a lazy one... i woke up at 7:00 but finally managed to get out of bed at 8:15 got ready at around 9, had the breakfast ready in the mean time... fatee was not feeling well so took the breakfast to the bed and woke her up... was on the way to work around 9:15. Normally I take bus from home to office... which is like 5 mins walk but these days since i have a bad foot, my case to take the bus is stronger... it is good to see people offering their seats to a man with crutches......

on crutches that is

I am seriously thinking of going back to India over a weekend to get my foot sorted... doctors and rheumatologist here are of no use... i could have got it all sorted in India for less than 1/10th of amount these people have charged... and have to wait for every result of blood test or MRI or Xray for 3-5 working days... and this is in private... through NHS they gave me a waiting time for 18 weeks

reached work hoping on crutches and...

day started at 9:00 am with a text from my friend inviting us for tea... my foot was still swollen so had to refuse the offer... then went back to sleep again...woke up at 12 when fatee got the breakfast ready... it was a lazy day all together... just lied on the sofa and watched tele while fatee was out doing grocery shopping and stuff...

then got ready at 6:00 to go to that aunty's place who invited us for dinner... her son came to pick us up... she lives literally 2 mins away from...

everyone writes about something special that happened with them... but no one writes about a normal day... so i thought why not i write about my normal day :-)

woke up at 7:30 made a call to medical centre to fix an appointment with the GP. Medical centre changed their time to 8:15 so had a shower and got ready for work. called the centre and booked an appointment for 1:30 in the afternoon.

fatee didnt sleep well last night... she spent whole day yesterday cooking for...

jhalak dikhla jaa and hamesha ke liye gayab ho jaa Himesh Reshamiya that is...

we went to his concert last night... friend of mine booked tickets for 6 of us just for fun and to see how many people likes this ullu... and we were amazed to see the craze for him

he sang all his songs more than once... and asking everyone to stand up and convert wembley arena into a night club

he made a special announcement......

on 3rd October 2004, i asked fatee if she would marry me
