updates

I am looking for a flat to rent in bristol. Im currently in one bedroom apartment, and i want ideally a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with a garden. I saw one in the SAME rent as my current property! To think ive been paying blindly and living tight all this time. It does mean that we will live in a bit of a rough area but i have been brought up in Manchester which didnt used to be, but has become quite rough. And to be honest when i went to the new apartment a part of me felt so at home. Like all the city grime just rubbed of on me. I'm so not a country person. I don't do immaculate.

The area where i work IS immaculate. Its so pristine and new. Hubby wants us to rent there so i dont have to commute. But i like driving. No, i love driving. I find it therapeutic. So that drive there and back is my winding down on the way home. And i don't like too pretty places that have no character or life. Sometimes when i see all the manicured lawns etc in american places i get the chills. Like it's too unreal. And i get depressed in Bradley Stoke as well. Its actually known as Sadley Stoke lol.

Anyways. So i quite like the new apartment but the lounge is open plan, which is problematic in terms of Zain and his fingers. He loves messing with everything. Dead inquisitive. but with all the wrong stuff.

Like i caught him ironing his own top this morning. Yeah he got the iron, laid his top out on the floor, and he was running the iron over it. horror!!!! Yet when i get him new toys and books...he doesnt play with the toys and he rips all the pop up bits out of the books. The good thing is he is just not interested in tele even though i have it on all the time cuz i like a bit of background noise. Don't like quiet.

In terms of drama this week has been DRAMATIC!

Monday - put zain in the bath, run out to quickly iron my top. Keep checking on him...can hear him play. Go back in, and hes been tipping water onto the floor. So i see a surge of water towards me. Run and get a towel and quickly mop up. Then quickly get toilet paper and dab it to dry the floor and throw in toilet and flussssssssssssh and BLOCk the toilet.....try to unblock it with bits of wire. Doesnt work. Cry a bit. Phone the husband. Leave it blocked....and leave it for him to sort out when he gets home

Tuesday - about to run downstairs to get a coke can out of my car half an hour before leavnig for work when i realise that my keys are in husbands car, and husband is at work and he has the spare key!! so i was carless. Luckily a friend who wasnt at work was able to rush me work and pick me up....but
