Painful loss

Last week was a painful one. I lost a cousin who was suffering from cancer and was very close to me. It was a devastating blow. For five months she put up a brave fight but in the end lost her struggle with cancer last week. She was young and had her whole life in front of her yet fate snatched her away so cruelly from us. She was more like a daughter than cousin to me. I feel that a part of me died with her.

	Re: Painful loss Losing a cousin is one thing....but when she was so close that you named her when she was born....it's like having one of your own children go. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Wish there was something I could do to help you through this difficult time.

	Re: Painful loss EB you and your family is in our thoughts. Losses like these are just so hard to accept, and seem like they make no sense. Who knows what the plans are of te great architect of the universe, but we of course struggle to see the reason the meaning of such losses. May you and your family be given the strength and sabr to deal with this tragic loss.
