beetay khawab-o-khayal ka socha tou teri yaad ayi
yoonh tou ab gham hi reh gye hain mere hum safar
aaj jab khushi rah mai mujhse takrayi tou teri yaad ayi
woh baarish mai jo bheeg jaateen theen teri zulfain
aaj shaam jab badal garjay tou unn ki yaad ayi
teri muskaan mai meri zindagi ki khushyian theen
aaj jab zindagi mujh pe muskarayi tou teri yaad ayi
tere baad tou maine lafzon se nata torr diya tha
