today.
i mean u know its really hot when a bald baby turns over in his sleep and u see a hair parting on the head made by sweat
in laws leaving on wed.. and then its PARTAY.
actually i will probably end up getting depressed and hating aariz cuz it will be just us then, during the day. the kid isnt getting any better at sleeping during the day and expects attention all the time. he mashallah LOVES talking.. and its so much fun but there is only so much idiotic baby gibberish u can talk bout u know.. babies dont tire of their own lingo.. we grown ups do.

i dont know when the fun stage will start. i mean he mashallah plays wonderfully. but he doesnt play alone sadly. he has begun to notice his arm and hands but that wonder only lasts 5 mins.
i cant wait for his neck to set 100% .. gonna get a bouncer.. he LOVES standing.. so thats what i will put him in. he has an acitivy mat with so much jazz hanging off of it but it doesnt keep him intrested probably cuz he cant grab yet. he has a swing with things dangling from it.. he sits in it for 20 mins max. so thats of no use either
last night was horrible.. he woke up every hour after 4.30. didnt know what he wanted.. cuz he would only drink an oz... he has scratched his face raw! and u know he is really digging hard cuz i just cut his nails.
i cant wait for him to start talking.. and crawling.. just keep wondering waht his voice will be like and how he will look doing both things.. hehe
my sil 's son has just started to crawl.. he is 6 months mashallah.. she was so happy.. hehe.. for the time being
what else. ive cut junk food out. time to get out of the *hey im pregnant* phase
we still havent ordered the pics that we got taken .. i wont be surprised if the guy has already deleted our file from his site .. hehe
ooo someone may be getting married this summer.. i am sooo excited for them... i hope it works out. another reason i need to get in shape.. i have so many gorgeous designer clothes taht i got made for my wedding.. i havent touched nearly 80% of my jahez clothing (ATTENTION BRIDES TO BE, DONT GET TOO MANY CLOTHES MADE, U WILL GET FAT). so ya... cant wait to lose weight and look all pretty again.. or attempt to.
ok honestly... how many moms here, out of poor exhaustion and irritation have smacked their babies.. even lightly? by babies i mean under a yr old.
i did last night. i was starting to get a headache and my back was killing me.. i had just put him to sleep for the 10th time during the night and when he woke up crying i gave him a light smack on this tush. not proud. but it did happen. i shouted at him too. something along the lines of what the hell is wrong with u why wont u sleep

it's supposed to be hot here all week too. reaching around the +32 mark with humidity. nice!
girlie, i shall say one thing. enjoy the time you have now at this age with aariz. cause once he starts crawling, walking, talking, you're gonna wish he was a baby again
we just want them to grow up ..and start doing little toddler things ..that we miss out on the things they do at this age. i remember when musa was a baby, i'd always want him to start crawling..or start saying words, and now i can't get him to stay quiet or sit still for a second.

I screamed at Kanzah too last night after she woke up AGAIN after 45 mins

As my mum tells me you must be married to have kids.. so why worry..
That wasn't what they taught me in S Ed but anyways..
He'll start getting adorable at 3 months.. My little nephew is such a cutie.. his personality is shining through now.

Put scratch mitts on his hands so he won't scratch himself. This phase is hard but think about it, they have a life time to talk and walk compared to being a baby.
