he is trying to learn to sit by himself without any support..
i had placed him on the sofa with his back supported by the arm rest.. and when i turned around, he had leaned forward and was trying to sit all by himself... maintained it for a bit and then started to fall over like the leaning tower of pisa will in a few yrs.
it was the cutest site... he does it every time we sit him down, wether on the sofa or in our laps... looks so funny going red in the face.
i also learned that blowing on his soles makes him laff like crazy .. he actually was giggling.
ive come to realize its not the baby that tests our patience (well sometimes it does).. but its us grown ups that just dont change or register change once they become parents.. and want to maintain their old lifestyle and way of doing things and time of doing things. things are bound to go hellway
like i want him to follow a routine.. which is stupid if expecting from a 2 month old.
i still wnat to be able to dust and clean and matintain the house and myself like i did before becoming a mom and feel very very irriated when hte house is a mess and chores havent been done and its already 5.
days where he has slept for a few hours during the day and i have had time to cook and clean and look nice, i feel so much better. i play better with him. i actually like being around him.
its such a shame isnt it. poor babies. i bet they hate us too. sorta like.. hey freak, if u didnt have time for me, why did u get laid in the first place huh
kher.. im getting better at making my baby my number 3 priority (after brushing my teeth and combing my hair) ... have my whole life to cook and clean and be a sakheena. i should enjoy my baby cuz pretty soon he will be 30 living at home and married to one or another of my siblings offspring whom i do not get along with and well.. life is one big tu tu mein mein.
sometimes i look at aariz sleeping so peacefully and ask imran *i wonder how he is gonna screw us over
* hehe.. all kids do.
8 weeks appt morrow.. lets see if things have gone back to where they belong... i still dont like my tummy.

I Now guys, really should enjoy him to the fullest!
Ira: mashallah times one billion but aariz had a pretty firm neck and head when he was born. We rarely support it now. But sudden movements do make him go wobbly. He i think will do everything early cuz he could even sit up as a newborn which shocked us a lot. Doesnt do it always though.Posted Jun 23rd, 2009 at 01:56 PM by khawateen
