rain rain.. lots of rain.. its been insanely insanely hot... hot as in baby clad in diaper only, that hot.
so we just got rain.. YES YES.. maybe it was my rain dance i did today that led to the rain.. rain dance is just a respectable way of putting how i squirmed and danced around in circles and pattered here and there trying to control my bladder whilst i tried to finish off putting him to sleep... putting him down and going to pee woulda interrupted the sleep process and woken him which i WOULD NOT HAVE HAD... so i danced around doing my own special rain dance... and no. i managed to put him to sleep and run for the loo and no i didnt pee on myself thank u very much.
so bhaijaan is lucky he lives in canada otherwise we would be one sibling short if dad had managed to get his hands around his throat. the man is upset at the rishta not working out and how u cant just say yes to a girl's family, play with her emotions and then say no just like that. as bad as they are turning out to be my dad is still a very sensitive man especially when it comes to girls...
his anger is justified cuz baj know all these things going into the relationship but the guy is sooo soo soo fed up with checking girls out and none working out for him that he truly wanted to make this one work so he would try to overlook whatever he didnt like.. in the end it got too much and he had to say no.. he agrees that it was silly of him to have done that but cant cover a mistake by makin another mistake
its just a horrible situation... and its worse having to tell everyone in pakiland why the wedding isnt taking place.. poor dad is going crazy cuz he really cares bout what ppl say about him. ive told him that these days even nikahs break over the tiniest of thinks so this was just a baat pukki. not even an engagement. and isnt it good that we found out bout their personalities before rather than after the wedding??? the father has sent dad a rather disturbing email bad mouthing just bout everyone and everything in our family so its good riddance .. and dad agrees.. but he still feels like baj should have checked them out a bit more before rushing them into giving a proposal.. which is so true.
sighz. he just had eye surgery so this is not a good time for stress ... mom was saying his eye is really red due to stress so thats scary. at times like these i wish i was around my folks.. my dad has always gotten along with me and my younger bro and we always manage to help him get over his worries but neither of us are around him at this time. :sighz:
hope he calms down soon.

oh and apparently we can have 2 odd days in a row but no friggin 2 even days... aariz has been up since friggin 7 am and the child has no sleep in his eyes... how the hell babies keep charged is beyond me.. cuz i feel like im walkin on a cloud!
give me a break damnit!

I can imagine ur parents feelings ... its even worse for my parents, I have a 30 year old bro, who just refuses to even hear the word marriage!

it's sad that the rishta broke but it's still early on...
i know a couple with two kids that are breaking up (desi) and the guys' parents are depressed beyond anything.

any breakup situation is hard, but it's better to end it now, then before getting married and running.

Couldn't sleep last night as it was so hot.. wished it had rained last night
PS Kiwi.. remember everything happens for a reason and maybe him breaking up might have saved you guys al ot of stress in the future
