I think I've turned into a bit of a shopaholic. I always was a "mall rat" (as one of my friends described), but not it seems to be sheer habit. Its not that I spend lots of money - I really dont. Plus I have this rule that I dont buy things that I don't need unless its on sale. But thats been the problem these days -- too many sales!

Its almost 430 on monday afternoon, and I must say I have been wholly unproductive. I went to a meeting this morning, and after lunch when I returned to my office, I just sat here.

Luckily I have Wednesday off b/c of Veterans day! Gotta love random holidays that nobody ever knows about or has off.

Weekend was nice - pretty uneventful, which is sometimes what you really need.

I used to write on here, what seems like ages and ages ago. Back when blogs were called journals. Its been a long long time since I've even logged on, and I realize how much I miss it. How comforting it can be to feel like someone (anyone) is listening to you. How nice it can be not to have to hold back your thoughts bc you have to think and rethink how your words might affect a relationship or how they can be used against you by someone you trust.
