When will this bad dream be over ?

All this bad news about economy is so depressing. Sometimes I think would it not be nice that I go to sleep and wake up when this bad dream is over. But I have a family to take care of I cannot just cut myself off from the realities. I have to face them . May Allah not put me through any big test. Ameen.

A lot of people are pareshan about what will happen in the future. Some lost jobs, money, had to sell homes, etc. Things have been very bad but Im hopeful. Inshallah, I think things will get better.Posted Nov 2nd, 2008 at 09:04 PM by PSquared

Stick to honest and responsible fiscal decision making. Don't buy things you can't afford. Don't rely on your credit cards - if the money isn't in your pocket, don't buy it. Don't play the stock market and put your money into it, because its akin to earning money on interest, which you're not supposed to do anyway as a muslim. Naturally, innocent people are being affected by this, which is the worst part. But we can protect ourselves to some extent with correct fiscal practices at home. Anyway, the stock market has been looking a little better lately, so stay positive.
By the way, your title reflects what my life has been like for AGES now. When WILL the nightmare be over? Just be happy for what you have - it could always have been worse. Trust me. You could have been born PCG.Posted Nov 2nd, 2008 at 10:44 PM by PyariCgudia
