Timing issues with Desi People!

It pisses me off so bad when people dont call back and to cancel the plan and leave you in middle hanging.
I mean i understand everyone has things to do. We all got issues that we have to deal with and sometimes you have to cancel the plan. But what pisses me off is someone gives you a rough time but does not follow up on it.
So i made another change stopped expecting people to be there for me it shows a lot about them. How responsible they are?
just pathetic!
I hate those desi aunties who also pop in your house unannounced
- i mean i could have had a plan to go out on a nice date or something [like i have one in real * rolleyes]
Call and let someoen know you are coming over or you are not- simple

I don't invite desi people to the house... khatam kahani. There are 2-3 desis that we even know in our area and the girl is in Steff's residency program, the guy is sort of a biwi ka chamchaa. When all the guys get together for football or bowling, whatever, we invite him, but he always says that he can't make it because his wife has plans or blah blah blah.
And then when he does commit to a party or something and says "Yeah, I'll get the chips or the dip or whatever", he ends up not showing up at all which just pisses everyone off. So, everyone has stopped inviting these two desi idiots.
