So once in a blue moon i buy ma Rose a dress, she likes western wear and all, anyway so en route home from Mancs i dropped in at Trafford Centre and made my way to debenhams, so ask the sales assistant for advice and she asks what size the mrs is, me not being sure (i once knew) said similar in size to her, so she picks out the size of the dress i chose.

Return home happy with my purchase, surprise ma Rose with the dress, apparently its atleast 2 sizes 2 big, the wife's not too happy...

I may be working in Newcastle for 3 months as part of my work development, how is the place?, which are the nice areas/suburbs to live in?, your recommendations will be appreciated.

Arrived back on Friday after almost 3 months away, more details to follow...

Finally going to say bye to this place, its been our home away from home for almost 3 months.

I shou out to you from Grayson, TX. Its pretty quiet here today, we decided to spend a day in our hotel room and just lounge and eat junk food all day, the wife has said to me on atlest a few occasions, i've put on weight. I'm on vacation, i'm allowed to.

Ramadhan in a week's time i've heard, not sure if i'm up to travelling on an empty stomach, anyway we'll see how it goes, we're haeding back up north in a few days, driving thru southern states sure was a bore i tell...

...having a great time on our travels, so much we've seen and done and its only been 3 weeks. Woo Hoo!!!

I've been down with a flu for 4/5 days, alhumdulillah feeling much better now. We're here for 2 more days and then we're driving down to Florida, events to do before we leave is a cable car ride to see the memorial carving and a lasershow, which i'm excited to see.

IA we depart our island for another tomorrow, our voyage of 5 months of America shall be kicking of tomorrow afternoon. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to friends that y'all stay safe, stay healthy and enjoy your summers.

Yesssssss! Just one week to go and i'll be finally done with work. No more early mornings for me, no sireee.

We got a lot done this morning, booked our tickets with Virign, iA we depart our island for another on the 8th of July, never travelled with this airline before, but what i've heard and read they seem good, plus i read on their site, their seats extend fully out into beds, how cooll is that. Oh and plus all the hostess dress in red, i'm hoping to ask a favor and purchase rose...

So a few weeks ago i put it to my employers with regards to taking a sebatical, because we really wanted to do some travelling this year, i knew i didn't qualify because i have'nt worked for em for 3 years as yet, but alhumdulillah my request was granted and thankfully they've approved my request.

We can both now enjoy the summer and not have the worry of not coming back to a job, my last day for the year shall be the 27th of next month, that gives us 5 months of travelling, USA,...

to quit my job, i shall be handing in my notice come early august, a fool for doing so, time shall tell.

..now for the hard part, telling the wife.

...like returning home and have mrs. attitude waiting for you at the door.
