blog after being married...

I got married and all of that mummble jumble that I had been planning for for over an year is over. It's crazy how you plan for these 3 days for 365 days like crazy and they are just gone before you know it. Anyways, So I moved away from Toronto...and miss it like anything!! Hubby is doing his residency in Manitoba...which isn't that bad of a place..the only thing is ...Don't have any family or friends here and there really isn't much to see around when you go out. Can't wait till School starts in Septmber. Looking at the thread today...about a man sleeping on the greyhound in Manitoba got stabbed and decapitated..made Mantoba even more desiring for me. But aside from the fact that it has the 4th highest crime rate in Canada, I do try to look at the positive side. It is Canada's Sexiest City....woot woot *roll eyes*.
Anyways, I was thinking I should start a Winnipeg thread....take pictures of different place and while I explore the city ... make a blog out of it..and let people experrience it with me. And it might also help me kill time while husband's super busy with residency. Life with docs isn't too easy.
=) But I must say married life's good, Alhumdulillah.

It really isn't easy. Are you going to move out of this town in the future? I hope you get a chance to visit toronto every once in a while

Congrats on the wedding... hey that's a great idea, post pictures and your experiences as you explore your new city, you might find that it's not so bad, keep an open mind.
Also, with digital phones these days, it's so cheap to call friends and family, so you can still very much stay in touch with them and keep up to date on what is going on in Toronto. With your hubby in residency, I'm sure there are weeks when he works ridiculous hours and doesn't even see you, take those weeks to find cheap flights back to Toronto. You can do so much, best of luck and I hope you post lots of pictures up here.Posted Aug 1st, 2008 at 09:36 AM by aahmed
