I spent all day running around since 8 am

I'm just tired.

Maybe I'm being unappreciative? My life, overall, mashallah, is comfortable. I'm not dying, right? There are people out there with more misery than me.

I PRAY everyday that starting TOMORROW, the world will just be perfect every day until I die. That things will just work out.

I work so hard. And I, so to speak, keep up with Jones' in my work, but I still don't get the rewards that...

So, this is All Hallow's Eve. Time for celebration folks!!!

I start with my pumpkin t-shirt, which I am wearing at work today. And I am picking up candies for kids as well, which I'll hand out later today. Oh I can't wait to see their little faces!!!

I don't know whether to go for Reese's (just cuz they don't melt easily), or mnm's (but a kid can choke on one of those) or something else. I only have two dollars left, so might as well use it on this :-D

I CANNOT work when they tell me to come in at ONE. This doesn't work. What BS is this? Like, I'm really going to wake up at 8 am and start doing things in the morning. I woke up today at 11. And then if I come in early just so that I can motivate myself to get up, some of the girls get all uppity with me "You know you don't need to come in until 1, right?". Look, I ain't being a goody two shoes. I just work better on morning shifts than afternoon shifts.

What BS. ...

I can't sleep. I spend all day tired and yawning with my eyes looking puffy and tired. Then it hits midnight, and I have no desire to sleep.

Life would not be life if there were no pareshaaniyaan.

Did you have an unproductive day? I sure did. I planned on exercising - did not happen. I planned on working on some projects - did no happen. I planned on finding the best cocktail dress ever - did not happen.

Only thing I did accomplish was buying a straightening iron. I go to the store, and I ask this salon dude about two irons. One is 26.99 and the other is 24.99. Both of different companies. He looked at them, and said, well I dont know...I don't use cheap stuff on my clients......

Ok, so I'm looking for other alternative sites for desis to network, and by far, GS is the best. It is FAST. It is VERSATILE. You don't have to have 10 degrees to post on it, like on chowk...although chowk does have a more educated viewership. It's FREE.

It's just missing a matrimonial service.

Anyway, roommate keeps jacking the temp down and I'm cold. Looking forward to yet another high electric bill.

I've been running around all day, on the phone. Thank God for my nifty PDA because I can access GS all day long on it. That wasn't part of the original plan.

I'm back in the apartment - same bit*y roomie. She is going crazy. She blasts the A/C and then complains of the electric bill. I keep shutting it off when it gets too cold and just now she came out of her hibernation, LOUDLY turned it back on and LOUDLY shut her door to indicate...
