not suprised

I was reading how canada ranked 12 out of 21, when it comes to child welfare..and the comparison was of rich countries. I am not surprised with these stats, because, child poverty is big and is getting bigger and bigger in canada. On top of the list are netherland, denmark and sweden. I do want to read what policies do they have...that we don't have in canada. It's always interesting to compare different models. As far as i can remember, 40% of the people who access foodbanks in GTA are actually children. If i remember correctly campaign 2000 mentions in their stats...that 1 in 2 child in GTA lives in poverty. It's really sad.
