A very Green street

Some amazing scenes today after Pakistan won the twenty20 championship at Green Street in London, which today was especially Green with Pakistani flags.

I wont say much, will let the pictures do the talking. The whole street was lined with cars blaring their horns in celebration. The din and joy were unbelievable and infectious.

A black lady stood around watching all this, noticed that people said Pakistan Zindabad. So with a big grin she said "Pakistan!" which induced a loud zinadabad from everyone around.

	My nani rang from Pakistan earlier and you could hear people chanting in the streets. It was amazing!

	Rightly so. It was not just about cricket today. It was about giving a little hope to the average Pakistani too.

	Bro went to watch the match, when Pakistan won I called him and oh God, could not hear anything other than all the screaming and ppl shouting Pakistan Zindabad. It was mad, in a good way Heard about green st too, even though didn't bother going. so glad they won!

	What i didn't like is being kept up till 3am having to listen to guys blow their own trumpets.

	yeah all the males from our house went at like 10ish and came back at 1-2..they said it was STILL mad down there. nice pics! p.s. no free food was given out i take it?
