i will share my moments of patriotic glory so i went to new yawk city
for 4th of july and the fireworks were pretty amazing. see crappy version through cell camera here:
after the extravaganza of watching the mobaatiyaan/fireworks explode we started to head to our cars so we could grab a bite to eat before we left. *dramatic music starts to play* but sometimes............ things don't go as planned............... so there was this guy behind me and a couple infront of me...

I am working closely on a business plan ... yes ... a new one inshallah ... I am just about in the middle of it ... so far the research and profit margins are looking exciting .. fingers crossed ...

I have decided that my current business, management consulting , will not fit my future priorities ... I have given many important years of my life to my career , and now want to give utmost priority to my family inshallah... after marriage , I dont intend to carry on with the same routine...

I want to join a gym but the closest one that I am allowed to go to is 12 miles from here. I dont think family will be too thrilled about me driving that far by myself at night. There is a close one that is 6 miles away but thats the downtown area of a neighboring city and there's no way I will be allowed to go there at night. *smack*

Soooo, it looks like I cannot join a gym. There is NO gym in the small city I live in. *smack* Only the YMCA and I cannot go there by myself. Just...

it was so much fun back then being with friends in classes, getting stressed over exams, hanging out after :d every class for couple of minutes, matching your schedule with a friend's so you could spend more time doing nothing, working in library :d and chill.

Few days back hubby was working late, well actually quite late like 2 in the mornings. I was alone and started to get depressed and would tell him when he got back..I've been depressed before, I am sure all of we do one time or another..so anyway that day (I think that was his 5th/6th day in a row) he came back around 4 am, we sat for a few mins and then obviously we went to bed as he was really tired....don't know what he said ,maybe that he missed me or something ..can't remember.. I just started...

Death is such a bleak reminder of how trivial everything and every relationship is. How temporary an unimportant we are. How Allah is the strong one and we are absolutely insignificant. Every time this realization hits me i am overcome by baffling grief and anguish. Coming to terms with this reality is so tricky since i am inclined to let it slip from my mind at the first distraction.

So, after 3 or more weeks of cordaditos for breakfast and a diet coke for lunch, I ended up with an inflamed stomach.

Pain was pretty bad yesterday --> couldn't breathe because it was hurting with each breath --> I ended up getting faint by the end of the night, and omg how did I sleep so deeply.

Anyway, I have to take these pills now for my stomach for 2 weeks.

Was it worth it? Yes, I lost 10+ lbs.

But the real point of my post...

Tonight was stormy and rainy. As I hurried out of a shop into a park and moved towards my home, I saw the same man with torn clothes quietly standing in the rain selling corns. As usual no one was buying it from him. He was quietly watching the people enjoying with their children, laughing, buying expensive clothes, eating food and moving towards their expensive cars.
