Watch whom you LOVE and CRY for ! (Please DON'T read it)

I know I would be highly criticized by some, but I couldn't resist expressing my views on this subject. I might be totally wrong, in that case please pray that Allah (swt) may cure my insanity.
Recently a person went to attend the funeral of a religious scholar. His children told people that in their whole life they never saw their father sleep on bed. Either he used to fell asleep while reading, or while writing about the life and words of the Prophet (saw). His books would of course not get much attention just like most of the religious books, because he preferred writing on the life of his beloved Prophet (saw) instead of wasting his talent on lustfully attractive and other complicated stuff that could make his books "best seller" among the present day youth.
I know this can't be a lie, because I have met them and seen their lifestyle.. They are not the ones projected by media because most people are not interested. If I have to cut short my opinion, I would say that they spent most of their life fasting, even if they got a bit of money, they spent it on others. Their lifestyle is the closest to that of Suhaba-e-rasool (saw), free from greed, lust, easy forbidden money, hunger of fame, show off, israaf, pride, and every other "disobedience to Allah (swt)" one can think of...The ultimate purpose of their life was to serve mankind, save them from satanic acts but show them the path of the Prophet (saw). BUT when they die, very few among the youth know about their sacrifices because their emotions, feelings, and tears are reserved for celebrities who spend their whole life in "acts" that disconnected people form their beloved Prophet (saw), but earned them luxury, greed, lust, popularity and pride. Their words and acts didn't teach people to humbly place their head in remembrance of their lord, but to "rock & roll" in HIS disobedience.
To this injustice & contrast of "emotional tribute", even if the mountains, seas, the earth and the sky shed tears for thousands of years, that won't be enough, but their is a consolation for those pious people that their butchering of their wishes in the way of Allah (swt) has not been ignored, as the prophet said, "(on the day of judgment), a man would be raised with those whom he loved" They preferred loving their Prophet (saw) not only by their words BUT ALSO by their ACTS and inshaAllah they would achieve his (saw) company in paradise.
It is now up to us if we want to be raised with the ones teaching people the ways of the Prophet (saw) or the ones spreading satanic acts! We all sure don't want to open our eyes on the day of judgment among celebrities having negligible connection with Allah (swt) through their ACTS! Instead it is better to at least prefer opening our eyes with the soldiers fighting for peace in our country, to whose shahadat we have become insensitive...How many times have we emotionally wished R.I.P. for their VOLUNTARY sacrifice.

Our priorities are all up side down STP. It's amazing how far away from our basic religious obligations we have wandered, yet there is a complete black-out of our collective conscious.
In any case, however, I think each one of us gets the realization only when the time is right for each of us individually.Posted Jun 27th, 2009 at 09:09 AM by Scratch
