How to wake up after over dose of Sleeping pills ?

I disliked the scholars who told me the "bitter truth" because most of them are against the forbidden desires/luxury that my heart enjoys. I always liked the scholar who is ready to bend and twist the Islamic regulations in order to accommodate in it my present lifestyle, that includes more of the sophisticated stuff than Quran, remembrance of Allah (Zikr), charity...etc. But one day while I was unintentionally trying to justify to a scholar the importance of "time spent on" fashion,music, movies...etc. more than "sunnah", I asked him, "Where is it written that this sunnah is must" In reply he smiled and called the most influential person for help, "Forget where it is written (as he knew I read newspaper more than authentic sources) ask the scholar inside yourself what is the truth ?"
My whole body began to shiver when the "zameer" (conscience) inside me was awaken. I gave a heavy dose of "what will people say, what will my relatives say, what will my friends say, what will my colleagues say" to my conscience so that he doesn't wake up again to disturb the so called 'peacefulness' of my mind created through materialistic ways.
But then one day I came across the strongest tablet (question) that removed the effect of all the other sleeping pills:
What if the Prophet (saw) asks you on the day of judgment, "You cared about what people/relatives/friends say about your deeds, dress and lifestyle but did you ever consider what I and Allah (swt) think ?"
