A Small Favor ...

Whose place is it to call a favor small or big? The one who is giving or the one who is asking for one.

I think its not my place if I am asking. But then why when people ask for a favor, they almost always say .. "aap se eik chota sa favor chaa'eeye thaa" (I want to ask you for a small favor) ...

How do they know its small. It may look small to you but it maybe the most inconvenient thing for me to do.

Are they (askers) being humble or trying to play it down?

	play it down... so that the other person doesn't tell them no straight away.

	They are trying not to scare you and put you at ease, so you will be more likely to say yeh

	.. one friend called for some money and the other asked if Niks can go and pick his wife who is stuck somewhere .. no big deal .. we did that, but still its my call to determine whether its a big or a small .. I mean Niks is a busy person and I am not necessarily a bank on wheels ....

small favor is liya ka ap suru mai he dil na choor dainnn ... u knw ther r other kinda of peeeps too whom u if ask for a favor their reaction was lik ... chk in ths example

1 frd reqest the other ka yaar ... muge ap ki bicycle chahiyaaa...
then he replied yaar woo to bhai lai ker giya howaa hai ...

	So is that rude for the second friend to say that or he is being honest ... I mean really, what if he does not want to give his motorcycle to anyone?

	ManGte howe do chezian daikee jataiN hai , ek mangNe wali ki oqaat . dosree dayNe wali ki hayse'yat ! so if some one is asking for more and sugar coating it as a little favor.. Than he/she is not very much clear about one of two things , I mentioned earlier I don't mind expectations .. you can turn them down but when expectations become obligations . Than its a different ball game . ya know
