Mumbai: Bollywood beauty, who tied the not with London-based entrepreneur Raj Kundra on November 22, invited singer Adnan Sami for her wedding reception.

According to the source, the actress herself visited Adnan in hospital where he was undergoing treatment. Adnan was surprised to see Shilpa in his hospital room.

She told him to reach the venue on time saying that she wanted him to be present at the reception.

But it was a sweet experience for the singer as he said that it was very sweet of Shilpa to invite him, added the source. Adnan has expressed thank to Shilpa and is highly obliged to Shilpa, pointed out the source.

Adnan Sami, in hospital all of last week for stones in his gallbladder, was startled when Shilpa Shetty stormed into his hospital room to
invite him for her wedding reception.

“I don’t care how many stones you have inside you. Just make sure you’re there on Tuesday,” Shilpa said before Adnan could react to the beauty who had appeared in his pained condition. Chuckles Adnan, “I thought I was hallucinating in my drugged state. Why would the bewitching Shilpa suddenly show up in my room? Only later did I getto know her father was in the same hospital for suspected malaria. But it was very sweet of Shilpa to invite me.”

Now Adnan intends to drag himself to Shilpa’s wedding reception on Tuesday. “I owe it to her, never mind the pain. I’ve gotten used to it.” For Adnan, besieged by domestic crises for the last one year, beginning with marital problems and illnesses culminating in his father’s death, the gall-bladder surgery has been the last straw.

“It was red-hot déjà vu. I was back at the Kokilabehn Dhirubhai Ambani hospital where I had spent so much of my time earlier this year nursing my father. It was eerie. But now I’m recovering well. My mom, brother and son are here to look after me.” Adnan’s music recordings had to be cancelled last week. “I had been ignoring the growing pain. I paid for it.”

From the title i thought the new bride got hit by her entrepreneural hubby and is visting hospital instead of enjoying a romantic celebrity honeymoon..

bachan family didn't invite any muslim to their wedding because they thought it's abh shugun, I think Shilpa don't care about these things.

Wrong !! They had invited SRK (a Muslim) amongst many others...Their invitee list was pretty restricted, not just for Muslims but for Hindus as well.

They feed s#*t and a lot of people scoop it ..... just for your information a number of muslims were invited and did attended ash - abhi wedding .... There are more muslims in India then SRK and Salman.

i don't think he was invited to the wedding. But he was invited to perform at the sangeet ceremony.
