Since you've been working for the exam for 5 to 6 months, its safe to assume that you've got a pretty firm grasp on the basics of networking. Going through the dumps will give you an idea of what to expect in the actual exam.

I won't ask you to mindlessly memorize all the questions in the dumps but do try to familiarize yourself with all the possible scenarios that are likely to be asked in the exam. So for your question, do not hesitate to consult the dumps; but do not not solely rely on them either. And please also keep in mind that not all the answers given in those dumps are correct, so always use your own judgement and intuition or consult someone experienced.

      Hope it helps.
That does not kill you, makes you stronger!

WoW CCNA/CCIE is it still any good? I did my CCIE 12 years ago and lost my certification because I did not bother to re-certify...

Once you are on a job and have real world experience certification renewal is not an issue. If you go look for a job , new employer might give you a few more points if you renew your certification.
