National Insurance number..

How can i apply and get my national insurance number card, online..??
when i was working i got my national insurance number but not in a form of card... Its just so much easier if its a card... please guide me, how to apply for it online.

you only get the card issued once age 16 I think.

You need to go to your local JobCentre Plus centre with details of where you have been offered/started employment (as you can start employment and provide NI Number within 4 weeks)
You get a fast track application form if you have a Work Permit/Cert of Sponsorship or equivalent document

PM me if you need the number to obtain the application pack

With regards to an NI Card; they will usually send you one shortly after you have been notified of your number however I believe it's not in all cases.

firs you will get your printed NI number, in few weeks you should have received NI Card. Thats when you apply for NI card and didnt have it before. you paper ni and card number will be the same. one cant have multiple NI numbers, its a crime.

people who are born in UK, they will get it automatically in port when the reach age of 16 years.

Shak kills i've got my NI number......... but its not a plastic card. I was wondering if i could get my card too...
heard that u can apply online but i can't find the web-site..... or online forms..?

Thanku wannabe mum.... but the thing is im not in England at the moment, won't b there for a few months.. but i can apply it online and it should reach my home there..
let me know if you know, how to apply it online.
