I wanted to share this survey to get meaningful answers from everyone as a small project near August 14, this year.

Please answer this brief survey with well thought-out answers.

Inshallah, I will tabulate its results with a summary of the statistical trends indicated by the responses of those who will fill in the answers to the survey questions.

1. How long did it take you to finish your basic professional education?
2. From which college/university did you complete your professional education?
3. How much do you value your Pakistani identity in your career?
4. Do you plan to go back top Pakistan in the future and train people in your field of expertise?
5. Would you encourage your child/ren to be in the same field of work as you are, to flourish a familial legacy in a field of work, in which you feel that you have succeeded?
6. When people respect you for your expertise at work, do they know you for your Pakistani immigrant background, as well?
7. When people have misunderstanding about the educational levels of Pakistanis and work ethics of people from Pakistan, do you make an effort to dispel misconceptions relevant to these attributes?
8. Do you believe in setting up an educational system in Pakistan, where non Pakistanis will be able to come and gain advanced education in your field of studies?
9. Did you/do you ever feel that you don’t get work opportunities because you are a Pakistani immigrant professional?
10. How likely is it that you will make an excellent contribution in your field of work, through original research development?
11. Have you been presenting at conferences in your field of work to share your expert experience at work with others?
12. Are you satisfied personally, in choosing your career?
13. If all went well in your career and you got where you would want to be, when would you wish to retire?
14. Do you make an effort to support other Pakistanis if you are in a hiring position?
15. Are you satisfied that with the pace at which original research is being contributed by Pakistanis in your field of work?

Some questions are asking similar but different aspects of your career. You're welcome to elaborate or brief the answers as you find fit.
The survey questions are not only for academicians. They apply to both genders and all sectors of work fields: Lawyers, govt officials, NGO s, private businesses, IT, Banking and finance analysts, private individual practices such as that of doctors, teachers, schooling admins, college/university professors, service industry positions & business owners.

is question 14 asking the question again just to give ppl a second chance or did u mean where.

not sure if all of this applies, some of it is targeted towards academia i.e. reasearch, presenting at conferences.

Dush jee... if you clean up the questionnaire and also make it pertinent to practitioners as well as academics, you might get a better response - e.g.

#10 can read as:
How likely is it that you will make a significant contribution in your area of work through original ideas, new research, or best practices etc. ?

similarly,

#11 can be rephrased to ask:
Have you been engaged in public speaking as a professional in your line of work or presented at work related events or conferences?

the reason for repeat questions is a built-in questions-based technique to assess the answers.
