hey anyone knows about ESL(English as a second language)???i need info about it...itz scope??course and tuitions..plz help me out if u people know

I don't know about Pakistan but over here and also in my university if your English is not good and you do not do well on the English accuplacer test then you have to do ESL course first and pass it before they will give you full acceptance in to the degree programme so I guess it is a good thing to do ESL if you think you need it.

Where are you residing? Are you seeking admission in college? Normally, the college would give you placement test. If you don't meet the college level language requirements, they will let you know what ESL courses you'd need to take. As per my knowledge there is no official ESL exam. Are you talking about TOFEL?

Neha, I am sorry I don't know anything about ESL exams held in Pakistan. How about you check with some testing centers in Lahore, they might be able to help you.
