sairaji, a little tip, dont tell everyone your prices in this thread, PM them instead, most other people on here do. Therefor people can be shocked in private!
I don't think these prices are overpriced, I think in general Pakistani outfits are becoming increasingly overpriced!
I used to buy outfits from a friend who sold from her home, she has upped her prices buy atleast 40%, but the quailty is the same, if not less. Its ridiculous. Jeans and T all the way!

hello milly
i have to disagree with your view. a successful business can only be run when one is truly honest to themselves and to the customer i think saraji should decide how much profit does she want to make from each outfit and then reveal her prices out each time anybody asks for.
otherwise she will be confusing herself in long run and damaging her customer's trust by portraying as a unjustifiable person.
and i certainly wont order from a person who tells me a price and tells some body else an other price.
i think saraji you should consider this as a humble request that you should set your prices no matter whoever u r dealing with unless in exceptional circumstances where one is ordering in bulk and then you can offer discount etc. i offer this advice because i see a real deal in you which is reflected from your collections where each product has demonstrated your hard-work. this is done by adding unlimited details in each outfit which has made it very special for a very special person.
yours sincerely,

Thankyou both mili and *Milly* for your interest, I will always be honest to my client, the price i quote one client will always be the price for my other clients aswell hence I prefer not to do sneaky things like private messaging, also because someone else might be interested in prices aswell. At the same time, for those who think paying 200 something for a haute couture outfit is too much, its time to get real and check other designers aswell, not only am i relatively cheaper than most designers in pakistan but also I can honestly guarantee you, that my outfits will have far more kaam on them than anyone else who is offering a formal for you, for instance even this outfit which brummie bird asked about http://www.paklinks.com/gsmedia/files/75151/beige2f.JPG
there isnt an inch on the outfit that isnt filled with kaam, most people do tarkhane wala kaam just work on the neck here and there and its not even like the outfit shown on the photos, yet people tend to get excited because not only have they relatively less exposure but they get something for cheap not realising the quality. I agree there are alot of sites that overcharge and give extremely unwearibly poor products as we all know, but my collection is for you to judge for yourself. And no one can reproduce what I can make for cheaper, not even exact. I noticed a guppie called prototype whos super brilliant at reproduction, she has copied one of my green lehriya neck design (not to please about that though ) and probably for cheaper than what i have on my site but I would like you to compare them. Its great that shes offering her clients a good deal and im sure shes a wonderful person as most of you sisters here are, but when you purchase something from me you will always remember that it will be a hundred and ten percent worth its value. Thats a guarantee.

Oooh taking shots at another designer, how cute!
Maybe the client didn't care for an exact replica, since she didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for something that is already WAY overpriced?
Less expensive designers can also guarantee 110% satisfaction and value.
How much more patronizing can you get.....Sister

Hi Kinzz!
The outfit you are inquiring about is one of my most in-demand bridals. Here are a few photos of a bride wearing it. She looks beautiful doesnt she?
This girl is really into opulence and shimmer so she chose a shimmery dull gold with a copper beige tone to it for her outfit. The top is pure raw silk with a stunning gold, deep copper and dull gold thick border on her neckline. The work consisting of intricate pearls, beads, cut dana, cut glass, sequins, zardozi, kora and crystals. Beautiful mermaid trailed lehgna in dull gold charmeuse silk, it will be extremely dreamy and flowy. The meshwork continues all the way from top to bottom of the lehnga. That effect can be achieved by elegantly scattering the motifs and beadwork all over the top using pearls, beads, crystals, diamontes and threadwork while edging towards the knees it condenses again. THe kaam is threadwork, cut-glass along with intricate pearls, sequins, beads, zardozi, kora, zari, diamontes and crystals. The work further continues to the plus trail of the lehnga where the kaam become extremely condensed around the border and we try enhance the dull gold lustre of the outfit as much as possibling by generously using as many cream and beige pearls, beads, zari, kora, zardozi, crystals, cutglas and threadwork motifs.
The price of the entire bridal including a complimentary matching pouch and worldwide shipping is $1750/-

Hi dear, it takes 3-4 weeks from the day you place your order with me for it to reach your doorstep. Can be rushed if you are in a hurry. The outfit is priced at $239.99 and shipping worldwide will cost $35.

Also Maha I have a suggestion for you for that outfit since you are interested in it, Sadia_86 ordered it in a dull gold with a bright ferozi patiala dhoti shalwar, it looked so stunning in that colour combination aswell
Remember, clients are more than welcome to add their preference of color combos.

I think it's all mostly about the profits. Labor is expensive now in Pakistan but definitely not THAT costly that people should be paying 24,000 rupees for ONE outfit (going by current dollar rate of 80 and a $300 outfit). So imagine, buying 4 outfits at that price are costing you near 1 lakh. You really think karigars in gulf or ashiyana charge THAT much for a suit.. lol, yeah right. Like I said before, it's all about the profits and even more so especially when the clients are overseas
Choose your battles wisely.
Not everyone is worth wasting time over.

Shay and same, i dont think you guys particularly know karigar rates since we work in this field, your average gulf karigar takes PKR 350 and above per day if you keep them at home. Considering it takes atleast 2-3 karigars two work on an outfit and 2 weeks and above for them to finish it it you do the calculations. And also, i have many karigars numbers who work in these markets so if anyone is interested let me know and i will give them to you so you can check up with their rates. Its not the RS 200 wala lawn suit Pakistan anymore. lastly guys please refrain from such debates on my thread its meant as an advertisment for my collection only, will be adding more photos soon! xxx

Keep in mind aswell shipping costs and shipping overseas does not cost 5-10 dollars so leave atleast $35-40 for that. And since suits are heavy specially mine are rich formals leave they tend to charge 10 extra for additional weight. Then include fabric costs ( good quality fabrics like jamawar raw silk etc) cost more, stitching costs. There you go. However I disagree that many sites are selling formals for 300 an above. A formal should only cost 295 max if it is too heavy and above 300 should only be bridal and engagement outfits! So yes people need to be aware that a designer should only be making a certain amount of profit, some designers here keep a 60 percent margin which is really unethical. I strongly condem such personalities as I believe if you are hobest in your dealings only then will you progress and feel good about your progress.

H Sairaji, i really appreciate the way to everybodys messages. There is no doubt that your clothes are absolutely stunning but is there any chance u could put up some examples of work in a lower price range eg $100-$150?
