It really depends on your preference, you can have a lehnga in jamawar or silk or chiffon ... same goes for the shirt! Comfort level should be the same in all of the fabrics as they are all lined with silk so that's what you'll feel on your skin. If you were to post a design here that would help us more in suggesting something.

Hi Dua555, Bridal ghararas are usually in jamawar but sometimes they can be made in chiffon lined with raw silk or jamawar chiffon. The shirt material is either usually raw silk, chiffon, or french net.
