So the above by some poster was edited out by a moderator on the pretense of name calling his majesty Altaf Hussain. Now bear in mind Altaf Hussain is a convicted murderer as per the top courts of Pakistan and is an absconder living in the UK and controlling a mafia from abroad.

So Sufi Mohammad, who by the way is NOT taliban and was not charged by the Govt after being in jail for a few years. Yes some people have qualms against him, quite understandable.

There are many more examples I can cite, but it just seems like making fun of leaders with beards is encouraged, and goes unnoticed, whereas name calling when it comes to altaf bhai is a holy sin.

I say we treat such personalities equally. PA is seriously being moderated in a very biased way right now, and honestly its just due to one particular moderator. I hope a balanced approach is taken.

Sufi Mohammad has actually condemned the taliban for picking up arms and has worked to bring peace in swat...Alas he is not part of the great liberal/secular pantheon which includes such illustrious champions of liberalism and tolerance as Altaf bhai and Musharraf...

1. Last I checked, we dont have a moderator by the name of Wine.

2. Just because one hates MQM does not mean that one should start supporting Talibans. We can call two people bad at the same times. Something for you to think about

There is a moderator whose signature gives it away, but then again thats not the issue here.

Again, whoever hates or loves the MQM or the Taliban isnt the issue. Call them both bad, no qualms.

The issue is the selective moderation. Why does that moderator step in fast to remove any insults directed as the great altaf bhai, whereas he keeps a blind eye towards insults at the people he personall dislikes, such as Sufi Mohammad. This is one such example, I can bring in many more, involving the same moderator.

its inaccurate to claim that any insults directed towards altaf are removed. in the post you quote 'chorran wala' and 'coward' is left intact. clearly there is some specificity in what gets removed.

you may argue whether 'goat lover' is as bad as (excuse me quoting it) 'Kanjarr' but I dont believe that is your gripe.

Please, show neutral behaviour when it comes to my videos that goes against MQM. I have noticed that you let people like mercernary2k, wine and khekeshan post videos in Pakistani affair forum but when i post any video in Pakistani affair forum which is 100 percent related to the thread and is presented to clear the context of the post....you act very swiftly in removing it and giving me infractions.

You are very fast when it comes to removing anti mqm material.

Kanjar as far as I know is a 'pimp'. Now goat lover (a bestiality insult) and gay (an insult at someones sexuality) is much worse, YET you allow that. Either lets them all say what they want, or be consistent with your moderating. IMO, you are the only one who engages in biased and selective moderating in PA.

One poster keeps posting Taliban videos in every thread on Imran Khan, or non-related topic, and his posts remain unchecked.

Also, posting political videos in that 'video forum' is a useless idea. PA should maybe have a sub-section on Political videos.

Just a clarification:
Goat-Lover is specially mentioned by me when talking about "Taliban". As Taliban are threat to our existence and Pak Army is laying life's to fight them. Hundred of Jawan's are Shaheed, watch some chopping head off videos for enlightenment. I don't have any problem with saying them goat-lovers/thugs/killers, and neither any Pakistani should have.

The only difference between Talibans/Goat-Lovers & MQM/ANP is, one are elected and the other is fighting the state.

Wine and Khekeshan always use very derrogatory and vulgar language and get away with it , calling others as gay, rapists, bestial sex lovers etc is normal for them. I hope they be taught usage of good words to make a point

Thanks Spock for bringing that issue to light. PA team is aware and working on curbing the using of derogatory language that works to generalize. If something is overlooked, it is not due to any bias, but it is merely because it gets overlooked. Please continue to report any post(s) that you find controversial/unethical and they will be looked after asap.

I have felt double standarads of mods in PA as well. i think they let their personal political slants effect their better judgement. We have a ban now that prohibits any degradation of pakistani army, and i donot have any problem with that but i have seen countless number of posts by M2K where he is openly calling for all FATA region to be blasted? why should we tolerate that on premises of peace and pakistani? it is our civilians arent they? or is pakistani life cheap?besides targetting one particular area again and again and mods silence on it makes the impression that ethnic targetting is alright. also what is with the concept of calling bearded monkey? beard is part of our deen, culture (in some ethnicities more than others)and doesnt iluminate any particular political stance. I think right now gupistan isnt providing fair moderation. I donot make these complains lightly , i enjoy this forum but something got to give here.

If the Americans can disapprove US troop presence in Iraq and Brits can protest against their military operation in Afghanistan........Why can I as a Pakistan Post against army's operation in our own county?

The point to be noted is that American and Brits taunt their army for war against an another country caz the value human life of other countries too....but what a shame..that when being a Pakistani i raise objections on military operation in swat and human cost factor of it......I get warnings and get labelled as Taliban!

Moderators too can overlook posts unintentionally, this is where the members' active role comes into play. Moderators and the Administration are there to facilitate your requests, but please have faith in the team and support them rather than accusing them of being purely biased. We will do our best, as we have thus far, to continue to be unbiased and fair to all members.

If you should find a moderator being biased, feel free to contact the Channel Manager of forum in question in case of Pakistan Affairs/World Affairs, that would be me. Your queries will be entertained and all matters considered confidential.

I'll like to reinstate what i said earlier, name-calling is discouraged and moderators are constantly on the look-out for any derogatory language used to generalize or define anyone. Please employ the report option and it will be looked into by a team member.
