So in a post about 'Displaced refugees due to the war', I posted as to how the city Govt of Karachi will not allow any refugees inside because the genocide of Pakhtuns in the city was part of their pre-planned agenda. The thread starter, Firenze complained and said I was bringing in the MQM and my posts should be removed. A moderator looked at it at first and let it stay at first. Then came the 'other' moderator and took my post out. Alright, so consider the following:
Sheikh Rashid to try again from Pindi on PML-N NA seat
So I make a thread (which got merged to the above) and has zilch to do with Imran Khan. The same guy firenze or wine came in and brought Imran Khan into the thread, and when I complained 4 hours ago as to how he is doing the same thing and nothing was done about that post of his. Please do not tell me the mods arent here all the time because I have seen atleast 4-5 mods of that forum post rather actively after that. Maybe those 4-5 mods do not care, which is ok, but then why was MY post removed in the first place.
Seriously, what gives?
Second star to the right and straight on till morning

Sheikh Rashid is standing from a Pindi seat vacated by a PML-N member. One poster who usually is quite supportive of PTI says PTI should contest for that seat, and would love to see Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and Sheikh Rashid fight the election. firenze comes along and says he would like to see Imran Khan vs Nawaz Sharif and says Imran Khan will even lose in his constituency. Help us understand what the issue is. Do you think the quoted post is also off-topic?

I will have Teggy and his Mods answer that as I dont know who moved the thread. If you know who moved the thread, you can let me know and I will ask that Mod to come and clarify his action,

With that logic, how was my post in that other topic off topic? It is common sense that the displaced refugees will move into the urban cities of Pakistan, and Karachi is one of them. Seriously this is too much. Either you should remove firenze's post from that topic, or bring back mine on the subject of displaced refugees not being allowed in Karachi. btw, I am more in favor of leaving firenze's post and bringing mine back, but you cant have this selective moderating just based on who you like or dislike.

I dont know which post you're referring to Spock. What did you say, and when you say first mod and 'other mod' who did what exactly.
Last I saw your thread on refugees moving to Karachi is still open

There is only one person who would move my threads in PA for such reasons and thats Ravage. And before him, Icon (another mod) looked at that thread and did not remove my post and said 'he finds that post relevant'. The only thing he removed was wine's complain and my answer to his complain. But no, ravage had to do his own thing.

So talking about how refugees wont be welcomed by the city Govt in Karachi is somehow against this zero tolerance policy I presume? Can someone, with an expertise please link the two somehow?

I will let whoever trashed those posts explain that. That said I was going to split the posts from the sticky too, since the sticky wasnt intended for political discussions, more for like links/news/awareness regarding refugee efforts.
I dont believe discussing the reception of refugees in Karachi is against forum rules, which is evident by the fact that your seperate thread on the topic is still around.

Spock if you are talking about the sticky thread on the refugees than I removed the posts because there is already a thread about whether Karachi would welcome them. Also I wanted that thread to remain an information thread for people who want to help the refugees and wanted to search for such info. Discussion as to where they might be allowed or not only derailed that particular thread. I am sure the point you want to make can be and is being discussed in the other thread.
As stated above the only reason for moving those posts was because we want to keep that thread as info thread only. Hope that clarifies the situation.

Thanks that's a good explanation, but I had to remake the whole thread again. Shouldn't it have just been moved to another thread on its own?

Spock I wont comment on another person's decision. I will say though that I was quite annoyed by seeing that discussion there, since somethings should be allowed to remain apolitical, such as refugee efforts. On another day I may well have just removed the posts instead of splitting the thread.
Having said this, based on this thread I would appreciate if you dont jump to conclusions about:
a) Posts I moved and posts I didnt move
b) Why I did or did not move those posts
You understand you only have your own judgement about me for both points a) & b) to go by. That isnt not enough information to form such a sure opinion.

Ravage, I assumed you did it because you replied here first as I thought the person who will defend not removing the imran khan post would be the one who deleted mine. My apologies if you feel you were targetted unjustly here.

Isn't it funny that a City run by a Party for Mohajirs ................
will not except any NEW MOHAJIRS...........

Its like the USA , the land of immigrants, rejecting someone's immigrant Visa. Its could be pure logistics.
Plus there is a tension between Pakhtun/Mahajirs in Karachi. Dont you think its better to keep them away for a while

Not a good example at all. People of Swat are Pakistanis, they dont need anyones permission or visas to goto Karachi. Will the state of Washington deny entry to a person from Michigan? No.
Furthermore, at a time of war and calamity, even countries open up their borders. Also, denying a visa based on the basis of ethnicity is discrimination.

Nope, any Pakistani should be able to go and reside in any city of their choice. Just recently a Pakhtun named Imran Khan was not allowed to enter Karachi and section 144 was imposed. It happened many times before. Of course, with the independent judiciary in place, he threatened to go to the SC and they had no choice but to pull back the silly restriction.

My example was linked to Obama's use of word Mahajir as in immigrant. You technically can migrate from one city to another but Mahjair word is used for people coming from other countries.
They dont need persmission, you are right, then why the word refugee is bieng used for them (by you)
