If i add a person in my ignore list...that person can still read my posts, can still view my profile etc. But i cant see his/her post......??

It should be the other way round right?

yes it is suppose to be like that, but then it means you want to block the entire network because if someone quotes you then following your suggestion means that technicaly not only your post should be hidden from, but also the post that quoted you should be hidden from the person whom you blocked.
