I know the suggested route for complaints is private messages, but I dont want to feel like Im talking behind someones back.
SyedAbduallah opened a thread casting Tehreek e Taleban Pakistan as the true Muslims who are trying to protect the weak. Not only is this against the 'zero tolerance' policy, it is counter-factual. As per GS policy, ehsan closed the thread. I understand that the closed thread is possibly not the only actions admins will take, and I want to advocate for more just in case the treatment meted to him was in any way lenient.
As far as this thread goes it was closed before I had the chance to respond to the counter-factual idiocy that is merely one more instance of this persona's signature style that routinely employs racism, bigotry and glorification/justification for the killing of the innocent. I say persona because I find the opinions expressed a little too stereotypical. I have often wondered if theres a douchey little flamer behind the curtain who seeks to caricaturize Muslims. Whatever the truth of the matter, the performance, whether real or not, has long gone stale, and needs to be ended.
I understand that bannings/warnings are a private matter, however it is easy for the public to ascertain if a poster is still posting or not. Anything short of a ban, after this latest evidence of doucheyness unworthy of this site and its owners, is indefensible.
SyedAbduallah if you wish to respond to me personally please dont bother. If you wish to defend the thread that got locked, I welcome it.
O Englightened dog, come and stay with me for a while.

The thread is closed and anyone and everyone who is violating 'zero tolerance' policy, is under a watch. A repeat of the behavior and the violator is out

Hello TLK! So its really one-tolerance
The very next thread is more of the same, except in a more weasely way. The thread advocates that those in the northwest of Pakistan (in context of the linked article) are treated unfairly in the media, are merely trying to defend their homes against the Americans, have love for Islam and their people, show prudence in relation to the long and short term interests of Muslims and so on.

No its not one tolerance. this is what policy says.

It just means that an action will be taken at the very first post. Does not mean that a ban is necessarily going to be issued at the very first time.

No such implication intended. Merely my opinion SindSagar.
TLK no need to quote the policy, I was kidding there as evidenced by my expert use of smileys :-). Given the current situation in Pakistan I find the advocacy of TTP (explicitly) very disgusting, thats all. I would advocate a ban whether or not any such policy existed.
