There is this annoying problem in windows 2000 prfessional that sometimes while starting the computer, it stucks on the window which says:
Windows is starting up... it does not go beyond that.

Then after turning off and then turning on the windows boots perfectly fine. There is apparently no other problem with system.

I remember there is a way to boot windows interactively (Verbose mode), try that few times & then u will no what exactly is causing the problem.
