you can use image maps in any good html editor, dreamweaver is nice option
then use javascript mouseover effect in & in the events you may write anything you want it to do, play video,
ajax I don't know much detail but you may look at W3Scools tutorial for ajax
yaar i haven't started it yet. but what i'm hoping to make is a grid of pics and when you move your mouse over a picture a larger dialogue box pops up within the window and its a video that you can press play and watch the video. and if u click anywhere outside of the video box your back on the picture grid.
does that make sense or is this all mumble jumble in my head? lol
