Hey guys,
i have Netgear wireless router.. it's perfectly fine.. the only problem is that when i turn off my laptop and turn it back on...the network is not available.. i do not see my wireless connection in the list of available networks....
i then go to the router and restart and it start showing on my laptop..
what do u think is the problem here?

try it with another wireless enabled laptop and see if it does the same thing
it mite be ur laptop thats having the problem
have u tried a hard reset on the router? (that little button on the back)

I have Nokia N95, Ipod touch, they both have wireless access...and my network doesnt show in either one of them... when i plug out the router and plug it back in..it works..
ps: going to do hard reset now...see if that helps.

I've seen the same problem happen with mine too. I have a Belkin N1. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen every now and then.

I had similar issue with mine, I upgraded with new Firmware and teh problem went away

did the hard reset and still the same prob.. im goin to see if there is any new firmware available.. and see if that helps..

Few things you can do.
1. Make sure your router is broadcasting your network.
2. Change the subnet mast of your wireless network. Might be conflicting.
3. Dynamically assign the IP to devices.
4. Update firmware of router.

Change the radio frequency and channel your wifi radio broadcasts on... usually, these routers broadcast on channel 6 so change it to something else.
