Over the years, I have had many biryanis/pai/nihari over my office laptop. SO the keyboard keys arent as crisp as they used to be. Soon Id have to return the laptop. How can I clean out the keyboard from underneath?

First remove the keyboard then remove all the biryani/nihari/pai pieces from underneath the keyboard and then place back the keyboard. Allah Allah khair salla.

Put your desktop mouse on the keyboard so chuha can eat your briyani to make it clear.

LOL , YB , your lappy needs a bath in hot tub with lots of grease cutting soap. Make sure it is all dried up before you start using it again and make sure it is unplugged before you give it a dip.

waste $10 and get a new one, instead of wasting others biryani time.

I think Mirch's advice is the best, provided that you know how to remove the keyboard from your laptop.
once the keyboard is removed and ribbon is unplugged from the motherboard, submerge it in warm soapy water and let it soak, then remove and dunk in room temp water few times and then air dry it for 36 hours ..or so
or listen to Zobia and spend about 20-25 dollars and buy a new laptop keyboard

Thanks for all the suggestions. Thought I'd give an update. I decided that doing this myself would be too much of a hassle. But also didn't want to take the laptop to our IT folks since I was embrassed.
So I did what any self-respecting man would do - I got hold of a clueless intern walking around and asked him to take it to IT and get the latop fixed. Since I'm so busy all posting on GS all the time
