hey,

i had a virus on my pc earlier due to which it used to shutdown alot, so i formeted the pc

unfortunately its still there i think it must be on drive D
now. thats one problem

second problem is tht i m trying to do data recovery cuz i have lost my honeymoon pics b4 format

i cant install ny prog, i cant use safe mode, i cant do anything and i odnt want to reformat cuzi dont want to lose a small chance to get those files back,

but what do i do?

i also had these file on my memory card which i formated few days back, nad have some new pics on it.. i tried recovery prog n it
didnt help!

can anybdy please help me with this. ill really appreciate it!

There are some recovery softwares that can help. But if you cannot install any software at all, the only thing i can think of is a Data Recovery service. Some companies provide it, but i'm not sure how much it costs.

^-- that'll cost heaps of money.

I suggest buy a new harddrive install Windows on that one, then connect the old drive as a slave and try to recover the formatted data.
