there are many other ways as well, provided if you are using Windows Active Directory or you have the ability to modify few settings on each and every machine .

Do you mean "how do i block individual people from using MSN on my computer?"
If you have Vista, you can use parental controls.... from there you can select which programs are allowed/not allowed for each "normal user" to utilise. You can also block websites, so MSn is not even accessible via the web version. This way you have full control as to what each user on a computer can/cannot do.

FBI I hope you do understand that MSN is a part of Windows and you have to remove it from "Add/Remove Windows Component" and also from "Add/Remove programs" if you have it there.
I have WinXP too and I make sure that I don't have "Windows Messenger " and "MSN Explorer" installed in windows components.
I hope it will help a bit .
