I think Mendis' will be figured out sooner or later.
But as far as this match is concerned :
Game, set and Match Sri Lanka.
The worthy victors of Asia Cup.

Lankan captain took Mendis pretty quick off...he should have been given a couple of more overs in his last spell...
Ind 126/5 off 25.0 overs...

^ SL's tactic of not playing Mendis in the previous game against India is paying rich dividends.
Mendis with all the hype and being an unknown commodity created a lot of doubts in the minds of the Indian batsmen I think.

/\But the damage is already done...may be they don't want to expose Mendis a lot...
PS: If Mendis & Vaas were in the last game against Ind...Pakistan would have been in the Final...

I had a feeling Mendis may cause some damage....but I didn't expect he will pick of FOUR in just 4 overs.....no chance of recovery now.

To face this kind of spin bowling....We need MEN (Tendu, Dravid, Gangu, Laxman), not BOYS.
I don't think these BOYS correctly reflect India's status of being "best players of spin".

Mendis takes his 6th wicket for 9 runs in 6 overs. Indian batsmen are having hard time playing this guy.

India in last 21 finals: Lost 17, won 2, shared 2
Their poor record in the finals continue.

To be fair to him, he hasn't been around right since the start of the game.
When SL innings ended, India were well placed to win this game.
So I don't think hollowman ran away as you imply.
