The big final is Today

So, its India-Srilanka in the final. Srilanka decided to hide their new talent Mendis in last match and now they will spring him on India in the final. It will be an interesting match.

Batsman-heavy India choose to chase

best of luck to both the teams ....

Indians may have just walked into a trap. Chasing against two quality spinners is not going to be easy.

Lets wait and see

well i'm too of the opinion that Dhoni made a big mistake by fieding first knowing well that 50 overs will shome how scuff up the pitch also it'll become slower which surely will play into the hands of Murli and Mendis and co

well let's c what happens

The way Arun said the name of Chamara Kapugedera, it sounded as if he is describing a prehistoric species.

Aamir Sohail is particularly irritating today.

btw, except for RP's 26 runs over , I think India have done pretty well.

...and RP dropped Jayasuria too.

Sohail, shut your trap.....he keeps yapping about something or the other...no matter how obvious it is to the viewer

Why is Sohail having an orgasm about Jayasuria.....he has to praise him 3-4 times every over (lest we forget how great he is).

Meanwhile, what a misfield by RP. At best, he is a bad fielder....today he is having a esp rotten day.

Take that 26 runs over out and I will say India has done splendidly so far.

Unfortunately, that over skewed everything and obviously if RP had taken that catch, Sri Lanka would have been struggling big time.

I like this decision of including an extra batsman (even if it is that ch*t*a Uthappa). Praveen Kumar would have been ineffective on this wicket anyway. So might as well include a batsman instead. Good thinking, whooever made that decision (Captain/Coach/both).

Wasim Akram's commentary skills, more than anyone, seems to be deteriorated. He is reading everything off from the screen, the score, the bowling stats, the batting stats. A screen was shown of Mahela's previous stats in the tournament, he read the numbers one by one of his and the opposition he faced. Later that over, camera shows the off-side field positions and Akram pointed out that there is one fielder in the cover and one in the slip, and the camera was zoomed in towards these two.

Its not about India-Pak oneupmanship....but I will have to say this....except for Rameez, no other Pakistani commentators in view should have been allowed to enter the commentator box in the first place.

Waqar. Akram & Sohail need lessons in English -- no doubt.

In the last game, Akram said something like "that shot was awesomly good" -- what the heck ?

Kids should not be allowed to watch TV when these guys are commenting....it will screw up their angrezi grammar.

If RP had taken that simple catch of Jayasuriya....Vaas would have been in as early as 17th over.

What a let down by RP.....and what an escape by SL.

And for the first time in the Asia Cup....espn360 goes down....looks like too many Desis woke up early to follow this game.
