What a class act this man is. The way he handled the podium and accepted a heartbreaking defeat so graciously, I think he needs to be recognized for that. Not only that, others (especially Indians) should learn from it and win even when you lose. All respect!

Sangakarra indeed is a very gracious person with great sportsman spirit... even Sangakaraa's predecessor Jayawardane used to be very courteous

In fact he is well educated. I think he is a law graduate - but education doesn't always guarantee civility and respect... that comes from inherent values and principles.

Question

Sangakara is one of my Favorites... He technique is just the best. All Srilankan batsmen r very technical but Sangakara is just too good. I Remember when he almost single handedly got the test match away from Australia scoring 170 something in 4th inning and was vicitm of umpires bad decision. I am a big fan of his batting.

Now moreover when he became captain, and the way he took the defeat made him a great person too. He said something to Srilankanz in his language in Award cermony. I didt understand what he said but it sounded nice.

Love Pakistan....
