The first ODI in the seven-match series between India and Australia begins on October 25 at Vadodara, continuing a rivalry that has existed since 1948-49.

The two sides have been alternating between Test and one-day series in India. Australia won the last seven-match contest held in India in 2007-08, winning 4-2. India, however, fought back a few months later to claim the Commonwealth Bank series in Australia.

Here is the complete tour schedule -

1st ODI: India v Australia at Vadodara
Oct 25 (09:00 local, 03:30 GMT)

2nd ODI: India v Australia at Nagpur
Oct 28 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)

3rd ODI: India v Australia at Delhi
Oct 31 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)

4th ODI: India v Australia at Mohali
Nov 2 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)

5th ODI: India v Australia at Hyderabad (Decc)
Nov 5 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)

6th ODI: India v Australia at Guwahati
Nov 8 (9:00 local, 03:30 GMT)

7th ODI: India v Australia at Mumbai
Nov 11 (14:30 local, 09:00 GMT)

It will be interesting to see how the Aussies handle Indian spinners in Indian conditions

Go Team India

P.S. Stay tuned for more...

Lately Aus is somehow coping up with the spinners in South Asia pretty well, thats my impression, I am not sure how can that be proved statistically but Bajju can create problems anyway that is IF he can be back to his best.

Those days are gone when playing in India was tough for teams from the western hemisphere. They used to visit twice in ten years. Now with IPL, Champions League, abundance of ODIs, goray batsmen have learnt how to cope the spin factor. I think Aus will have issues with their bowlers against Indian batsmen. if they can overcome that then it won't be so competitive.

I still feel Aust is better than India. India always looks good on paper but they have failed to deliver. But they always bring their best when playing in India especially against Aus. So it should be a good contest.

If home crowd support was enough, Indians would be the champions league winners. Ultimately it all depends on how the team perform.

T20 does not draw as much passion from spectators as an ODI, which has national pride involved. T20 is more of "fun" cricket

This promises to be an interesting series.

Last time I checked India beat asutralia in australia in last one day triangular series..

India beat south africa in ireland in last one day trianglar series abroad.. india beat srilanka in last away series india beat pakistan in last away series.. india beat west indies in last away oen day series..

the list goes on and on.. there is a reason why they keep getting number one ranking every now and then in one day cricket

I hereby predict an Australian victory in the series. Looking at Arleitter's previous predictions team India are in for a whipping.

It would be nice if India doesn't lose the series 7-shoonay.

Any free web streaming links?

no team can lose a series 7-'shoonya' at home.........even if it were Pakistan, one would expect them to win at least one match at home......and we r talking about the World no. 2 team!!

I seriously think, this schedule is taxing not only for the cricketers but for the fans as well. I for one do not find the energy to support the team whenever it is playing. I know it does not make a difference, but there might be thousands of fans who would be feeling the same way.
Cricket matches dime a dozen is making people to lose interest....
