      do they always remain cheap?

words, actions and thoughts of othe rpeople can provide a very clear idea of how selfish, low and morally frigid they are.

yet, when it hurts their own selves, they still dont learn and change.

is there no amount of embarrassment or shame or harm that will ever change them?

      share your ideas on this?

thanks Zobia. i feel that east or west, as self respecting communities, cultures and nations,
you would at least see people to take heed, to improve themselves.
but, it seems like everyone is lost in their molasses of guilt.
they are so badly rigged by their impulse, their shameless self rightousness, even when they are absilutely incorrect and self destructive.
be it a balanced view on a stigamized, tabooed issue, or a reference to someone somewhere smply doing things differently - non tolerence, ignorance will stare you in your face and your good work will get stalled, because the people with whom you are hoping to achieve a common sense of good prudent practice, will not appreciate this.
how self unaware and disadvantageou such mentality is, is so hurtful for the people themselves.
what is the end goal of educated people in a society? not merely to live a good life personally, but ideally to be able to transform lives of other people, if those people are able to see that they are being offered sincere help.

& in Pakistan, so much needs to be done along these lines, only if people are cooperative.

dushi, i dont know about u but if i were born in the era when Islam was on its peak i wouldnt feel ALLAH SWT as i do ritenow. these fiascos, conflict of belief with the current successors, just makes ur faith stronger n the essence of self-realization becomes more rational and clear.

so i take every thing as a challenge, n enjoy it as best as i can afford.

zobia, i agree. that's true. times and places have a lot to do with how concerns occupy a faithful individual. strong faith is the ultimate shield, absolutely.
you said it beautifully, that enjoying the challenges is the way to be.
      best,
