I am a hybrid.
Half hydrebadi (mom side) and half Luckhnow (dad's side).
So I have the tuuti puuti urdu combination with the purest urdu.
Ima Hyberahnow.

Cress i think you're mistaking the meaning of zaat with something else. Zaat has usually to do with your background/tribe/clan etc rather than the place where you belong. You can have people from 100s of different zaats that belong to hyderabad.
In most cases a person's zaat is the same as his/her surname. I am an Uqaili. We are (according to our family tree anyway) direct descendants of Hazrat Ali (RA)'s elder brother. Came to the indo-pak subcontinent with the advent of arabs way back when. There arent many Uqailis in pakistan but many can be found in Iran and the arab world today.
Sincerely,
Captain Lota

assiessikh, there is no such things as "caste system" in Pakistan, they are remnants from past and only use for "past identification", no other reason.

In Pakistan a common english word used to describe zaat (ancestry) is cast. This should not be confused with the word caste which is used to define a person's imaginary position in society i.e. caste system.

Captain Lota

i am Turklani (Pashtun)...ethnologists e.g. Uri G. Gangovsky (in his book "People of Pakistan") say Turklanis were originally Turks assimilated in Pashtun ethnicity around 12th and 13th Centuries A.D.
Turklanis inhabit border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Malakand Division...they are a member of a larger tribal confederacy called Kashis, other member-tribes of which are: Yousafzais, Mohammadzais, Gigyanis, Jadun, and Utman Khels...they migrated, from Ghor, Western Afghanistan to the present area of their habitation in 15th Centuty...

I'm a Raja, literally translated as KING .
Even within these casts there are sub-casts. They are not used in the same way as India, they just identify us and where we come from historically, Indian system is a little more extreme in the sense lower casts are considered impure etc
