Question is that you find it interesting or not. If it is a mindless rant then find something else... if it is well written and interesting then read and tell us about it here

^^ i agree .. aur waisey bhi ..you should read it ..cos it will give you information on what sort of people there in the world ..and by reading this you will have infrmation and be able to refute people like these .. and if you dont even know what these people think then you cant prepare yourself for answers for these sorta people ..

So... you shouldn't educate yourself if it might challenge your ideals? What?

It is said if your Mother is not a Muslim..............it will be hard for you to be one!
read all the books you want.......................atleast that is what the Jews think.............they will not let someone convert to Judaism if their Mother was not Jewish!

You must have had a person who you relate to as Mom?
so what made you pick your religion?

It is one thing to read the book as pure information and entertainment, but if it changes the way you think about your religion then obviously you have taken it to the next level. I would like to read the book and close it and forget about it. Our Iman needs to be strong enough to disallow negative influences to infiltrate.

If you are going to read this book, you should probably check out Why I am not a Christian also by Bertrand Russell who inspired this Ibn warrq person. BTW I think knowledge is always good but this Ibn Waraq (literally means son of the page) is a fake name. There is a wide scale speculation that this book is not written by a muslim or a former muslim who left faith and wrote a sincere account of his experience as Russell did with Christinanity, but rather is a propeganda device with zionist roots. Read it, but just do a little background. I am including a link to the Essay titled Why I am not a Christian. Why I Am Not A Christian, by Bertrand Russell
