hmmm well i do not think that gals hate the marwat boys. but may be its the difference in up bringing and the place where you have lived ur whole life. Like my brought up was in Lahore n then came to UAE. A proposal from say Bannu or Kot Kashmir or Lakkee etc, I will straight say no. The mentality changes big time. Its not that only i canot live with him , but he himself wont be comfortable with me. So why to destroy two lives.

If yes, then its strange that you are complaining of Pashtun's disloyalty towards their langauge while you have already take a step ahead by repeatively using the improper word "Pathan" instead of "Pashtun".

Congratulations for Being Loyal to Pushto............
By the way , my question from the forum members is not in the sense that , Pushtoons are not loyal to their Pushto......... this Loyality matter you are raising.
I am Pushtoon Myself , and if the Word Pathan is not Proper for Pushtoons , then update me with reason why ?

I have some indian coworkers in my company , one day one of my collegue wrote one urdu verse(Peotry) in English , and wasnot able to jot that in Urdu , I thoght see , it is not different , with other language people , as you will find may pushtons who will be not able to express (in writting) in pushto.

obviously u will listen ur favourite word "pathan" from their mouths.
there is no need to research that what does word pathan meas. just remember that dont become shy to use word pashtun and afghan 4 urself

I think Saying "Pathan" or "Pushtoon" will not make us diffent , we will still remain the same ..............
Ya , I donot feel others have some PARTICULAR meanings/backgrounds with saying these two words.
I have grown in NWFP and I think Pushtoons or Pathans have no problem with either of these words.
By the way , We cannot abondon others to Call us PUSHTOON or Pathan.

^who says if some one call u pathan than u shud abonden him. i dont complain much if sindhis and punjabis use pathan for us but i do mind if a pashtun brother like u ,use a derrogative, foriegn and harsh word "pathan" for himself.
by the kom zi ye roara?
