have you guys heard that the urdu fiction of umru ayyar has been translated in english now ?

if someone would have been awake, I think a movie based on umru ayyar and his adventures would have been more popular than harry puttar ?

If it gets translated to English, there will be nothing left. Umro Ayyar and Ameer hamza adventures were written in Urdu literature style and I really don't think it will have the same comical spirit if it was in English.
On the other hand, I do think if Urdu was more popular in the world, then these books would have been on the same level as Harry Potter, unfortunately no one gives a damn about them anymore and it's the reality.
