Hi Guppies and Guppan,
I visited Dubai recenlty and this was my first time to the emirate. I was really surprised to see so much development- more than I have seen anywhere- nice and clean roads, man-made islands, Jumeira, Palm Island, Dubai Marina, Sheikh Zayed Road etc.. Dubai rocks- best city in the world! 4 of my 15 brothers live and work in Dubai- 2 of them work for a construction company and they told me about the breakthough projects like Burj-Dubai, Al-Burj etc. that is being taken on by Arabs. This is one of the reasons I admire Arabs. I rode a cab and the cabbie was Pakistani. He told me that in Dubai they prefer Pakistanis over Indians any day. Most of the Pakistanis are well-paid, rich and landowners and Indians are shown the door- no one likes Hindus for their animal-loving beliefs. Sheikh Rashid Al-Maqtoum personally likes Pakistanis and has taken a lot of intere... infact, many of the apartments on Palm islands have been offered to Pakistanis at a subsidized low-price. Pakistanis(esp. Punjabis) are welcomed for their honesty and education. Most of the enterpreneurs, engineers and doctors are from Pakistan. Indians clean the trash and toilets

well obviously someone fed you horseshyt, and not only did you lap it up you asked for seconds and a doggy bag.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.

yep terms liek sadeeq, rafiq and miskin are used in respect and awe by the locals.
many successful pakistanis board the plae when it stops in middle east, I usuallyhave to help them fill out their landing cards. I believe they are all costrution tycoons, and transportation moguls.

No mere bhai, what I meant that while the majority of Pakistanis are rich and well-paid in the middle-east, there are some paindus who take low-paying jobs out of desperation but they also become successful. and this applies to Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi and other countries too- not just Dubai. I was happy to see Pakistanis so successful in Dubai. Went to EMirates Mall in Dubai and many of the shop-owners were Pakistani Alhamdullilah

how is he right?
when you say they are not in majority, and he says most are., you are in disagreement with one another.
I know very well that there are very successful pakistanis in dubai, but not most i.e. majority of pakistanis and that is what I stated.

no i meant his part about the many successful pakis is right but the majority bit is wrong im sayin the same thing your saying
most of them are taxi drivers, construction workers etc etc but one thing they do is earn alot more than they would back home and then send money home to their families which is quite admirable i guess

Okaaay...
I lived 12 years in the Gulf. I have been to KSA, Bahrain, UAE (dubai specifically).
Where did you see all this extraordinary arab love for Pakistanis again?....
a special dark alley dedicated for us right....
Arabs and Dubaians favor indians like the hindus favor prasad.
In general Indians outnumber Pakistanis just for that basic reason. The sheer number of them around!
I suggest having your thread moved to Jokes section...
