Are Pakistani restaurants in Dubai actually nice and clean, with good customer service? Can't say the same about the ones in US. 99% of the ones in US are equivalent of dhabas back home. They have no standard, one day the food will be awesome, next day it will be horrible.

Aisha, some of the names u mentioned are dance bars :S so errr ziggy don't go there!
TeenDW, the one's i've mentioned are actually upscale and posh "desi" places..extremely hygenic, clean and yummy too!
Can't say the same about Ibrahimi, Delhi Darbar, India Palace
Asha's
Gazebo
The Spice Lounge
The Great Kabab Factory
India Palace
Spectrum On One
And if u want live ghazals.. a nice one is Sheraton 4 Points

With due respect, if traveling overseas, why do desis look for desi restaurants? I mean, youre visiting a new country, with a chance to try out countless different cuisines. Why not try some of them out? I love my desi food as much as anyone, but comon. You dont have to like foreign food, but try them out. Thats the best part of being a tourist.
