Hi all,

I am travelling from Germany to Karachi and want to stay in Dubai on transit visa for 3 days before i would fly to karachi. I have read about the Transit visa and its terms and conditions........Actually i am interested in visa on arrival for which i need hotel reservation(i will be booking hotel only for the purpose of getting visa) since i have my uncle and number of friend living in Dubai.I was reading a blog relted to this issue and someone had mentioned that he got the reservation Fax from the hotel and than he didn't go to hotel at all..................... while i have gone through number of hotels, and thay all have mentioned that if you wanna cancel reservation you should inform a day before...or in case of no show they will charge the first night.

Do someone has any information or experience to share.......that how to cope up with this issue ????
