I am going to slowly add some reviews etc about what I believe are the must see malls here in Dubai.
First one is my absolute favourite Mall of the Emirates or like the residents of Dubai like to call it, MOE.
Mall of the Emirates~ Shopping is just the beginning
Here is the official description of the mall.
Mall of the Emirates, the ultimate leisure, entertainment and shopping resort opened on September 28th 2005. Strategically located in the heart of what is now deemed New Dubai, this 223,000 square meter centre offers a full range of shopping, leisure, and entertainment.
Mall of the Emirates features 466 international brands including department stores, fashion, lifestyle, sports, electronics and home furnishing outlets, the largest Carrefour in the city and over 60 stores that are unique to the centre. The compelling family leisure offer includes a Magic Planet family entertainment area, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, the world-renowned Ski Dubai, a five star Kempinski Hotel, DUCTAC, the Mall's 500-seat community theatre and accompanying arts centre, and 70 coffeeshops and restaurants.
and here is the wikipedia article which is quite accurate considering it is wikipedia after all.
Mall of the Emirates - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
and this is the official link of the mall's website
Mall of the Emirates - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The mall opening hours are:
Sunday - Wednesday: 10:00 am - 10:00 pm
Thursday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:00 midnight
Carrefour opens 9:00 am 12:00 midnight every day
Oh and those people that have visited Dubai and have gone to the malls I will review and give information about in this thread are more than welcome to come in and share their experience with us.

dubai mall is not very good atleast IMO...i was there a few months ago and all of the stores weren't open yet....its HUGE, and starts to get tiring walking around after a while...i found it empty and desolute...but it might be better now...the food court is very nice and has lots of variety...i agree that MOE is probably the best, and Ibn-btuta (sp?) was also good... i like Bur Jaman shopping centre a lot too, probably becasue it was smaller and less crowded but it doesnt have any major attractions....

Dubai Mall sucks.. believe me. I didnt like it at all. Or may be I am just tired of seeing so many Malls every where. Or may be I do not like those places where you CANNOT shop.
The aquarium is good though.
City Center is good .. lol... coz i get a lot of places there I can do shopping from. Wafi is good too. Oasis is another place where if it was possible, they would be charging ppl for window shopping too
MOE is nice place. I like it coz its all the time fully crowded and its somehow nice place to see. I prefer it over Ibn e Batuta.
Ibn Batuta is the very first Mall u ll see while coming from Abu Dhabi. Inside dubai to avoid traffic we usually do not dare to cross Ibn Batoota or maximum till MOE coz after these two malls there are 100% that you ll get stuck in dubai traffic. Which is the last thing anyone will wish for. Waise tou aaj kal dubai is in control. due to recession a lot of ppl have left the place. so kuch sakoon tou hai.... plan your trip quickly and take some advantage of recession period
Marceto is nice place too. Actually very nice place to visit. Very beautifully constructed. Italian n Spanish architecture is on its heights.

Yo IBM is nice place. I like the China court too. but the small stalls there, are too damn expensive for no reasons. I liked a shirt there and it was dhs.225 and i was like what the hell its mere cotton shirt. anyway cinemas has always been place of attraction for me

It's pretty rare where I know what I want and can enter the shop, pick-up what I need and walk-out! Hence dubai malls offers me more windows to peep-thru!
